He has translated many key foresight texts into Farsi and published widely on a huge range of different topics, from the study of the brain and consciousness, to diverse areas of technology, global issues, environmental and ecological challenges, methods of strategic foresight, and ethical concerns as they pertain to contemporary affairs and future possibilities.

He received a prize in 2003 while still a university student for a Farsi translation of the book, Value-Focused Thinking originally published by Harvard University Press; was selected by the National Youth Organization of Iran for Outstanding Intellectual Achievement in 2004; and shared the 2009 Iran Autumn Season National Book Award with his two co-authors for the book entitled Scenario Planning published in 2008 in Tehran by the Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) of the Petroleum Ministry.

To break free from the humankind's tribalistic past and therefore realizing the vision of Global Placeless Brains he looks up to and is inspired by the Iranian born futurist and the spiritual father of the Transhumanism, FM-2030, now placed in cryonic suspension at the Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona. Like him Motti has "a deep nostalgia for the future."
